mccPILOTLOG is one of the most successful electronic logbooks available today. Every month a thousand new pilots join our users group. A team of 20 developers, project managers and helpdesk agents is working clock-round to deliver the most comprehensive logbook software on Windows & Mac desktop and five different mobile platforms (iOS, Android, WindowsPhone, Blackberry, Amazon Kindle).
Here is our Team !
mccPILOTLOG can import data from 50 other electronic logbook applications. Here is a list. Besides that, many pilots are using a self-made excel spreadsheet to log their flight experience.
Each and every logbook has a different logic, a different database and a different encoding. We have developed converter tools to automatically (about 60%) or semi-automatically (about 10%) extract flight records from the old database and prepare them into a mccPILOTLOG compatible CSV file, meeting these requirements. There is another 30% of pilots with all different self-made spreadsheets, which must be converted manually.
Due to the massive number of pilots transitioning from another logbook application towards mccPILOTLOG, our Team is overwhelmed with database conversion requests. We receive about 500-600 request per month. Each manual conversion takes about 20 minutes... We need additional manpower to assist with the data conversion.
We are hiring pilots that want to work for mccPILOTLOG on a freelance base. You can work from any place in the world, any time of the day or night, as little or much you want. All you need is :
- a laptop or desktop PC with internet connection (temporary off-line working is possible)
- be familiar with Office Calc / MS Excel and TXT / CSV (additional experience with databases Access, SQL, dBase is a plus)
- strive for perfection in your work
You'll have to sign a non-disclosure agreement due to the confidentially of the flight data that you work on.
