The backup ZIP file that is created by mccPILOTLOG is indeed locked with a password.  The password is added to protect your privacy, in especially when you store the backup on an external medium or when uploading the file to mccCLOUD.

The password is generated by the software and is different for each user.  Only the software knows the password and is able to open the backup file through some algorithm.  If you do no longer have mccPILOTLOG running on your desktop, you can submit the database to our Helpdesk for unlocking.

At all times, you have direct access to your live database, stored in the user application Database folder. To avoid damage or loss of data, we strongly advise that you first make a local copy prior to opening the database and viewing / editing records.
